Personal Injury
Our
firm represents individuals who have been injured due
to some one else's misconduct or negligent behavior.
We understand that you have medical bills to pay,
damaged property, and that you may be in pain and out
of work due to the injury. We have assisted clients
who are victims of animal bites, bicycle or
motorcycle accidents, defective products, slip and
falls, premises liability, including nursing home
abuse or neglect, and other claims due to a variety
of events. In addition to the more common injuries
associated with such accidents, we also represent
clients and their loved ones when the issue is fetal
injury, brain damage, and wrongful death.
Medical Malpractice
We
are experienced in medical malpractice law and can
help clients determine whether or not malpractice has
occurred. When some one is injured as a result of
negligence or misconduct of a dental or medical
professional, a breach of trust has occurred and we
help our clients obtain compensation to get on with
their lives.
Auto
When
you are injured by the carelessness or recklessness
of another driver, you may be entitled to financial
compensation for your injuries, pain and suffering,
emotional distress, lost wages, medical expenses
(both present and future), and property damage.
We dedicate a large portion of our law practice to representing clients who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents. Years of trial and settlement negotiation experience have proved to be invaluable to our clients who are in dispute with other drivers and their insurance companies.
Our accident and investigation team will investigate the unique facts and circumstances of your case and then proceed to negotiating your case with the insurance company. We will explain to the insurance company why the faulty party is liable (responsible) for your injuries. We will notify the insurance company of your extensive damages by describing the nature and extent of your injuries, how your daily life has been affected by your injuries, and how your injuries will affect your future.

Wrongful Death
It
is truly tragic when someone else's negligent,
careless, reckless, or intentional act causes the
death of a loved one. Colorado law provides for
wrongful death and survival actions in order to
protect certain family members in these terribly
unfortunate situations.
A wrongful death action alleges that the surviving dependents or beneficiaries are entitled to monetary damages as a result of the defendant's fatal conduct. The amount of money that may be recovered through a wrongful death lawsuit includes the monetary loss suffered by the family members who are now deprived of the decedent's earnings. Family members and beneficiaries may also recover money damages for medical and hospital bills, nursing-home costs, funeral and estate administration expenses, and prospect of inheritance.
In addition to damages for wrongful death, the decedent’s family members and beneficiaries may be able to recover damages for the personal injury suffered by the decedent. These are called "survival actions," as the personal injury action survives the decedent. In a survival action, the decedent’s personal representative brings the lawsuit for the benefit of decedent’s estate. The degree of consciousness, severity of pain, apprehension of pending death, and the duration of suffering are just some of the factors that account for damages.
